Elliot Page Reveals He Hooked Up With Co-Star 'All The Time' During 'Juno' Filming

Elliot Page discussed a surprising behind-the-scenes relationship while filming the beloved movie “Juno.”

The film catapulted Page to fame after its release in 2007.

“Juno,” which holds a high Rotten Tomatoes rating of 94 percent, follows Page’s character, a teenager who becomes pregnant and decides to give the baby up for adoption.

Page, also known for roles in “The Umbrella Academy” and early 2000s “X-Men” films, detailed his experiences in his memoir titled “Pageboy” last year.

In the book, he divulges details about a romantic relationship with a fellow cast member.

“I was taken aback the moment I saw Olivia Thirlby. She seemed so much older, capable, and centered,” wrote Elliot, noting that despite their same age, Thirlby appeared more mature and sexually confident.

“The chemistry was palpable, it pulled me in,” he added.

In “Juno,” Thirlby played Leah, Juno’s close friend, appearing alongside Page in several scenes throughout the film.

Elliot Page revealed in his memoir that his off-screen interactions with co-star Olivia Thirlby went beyond just friendship during the filming of “Juno.”

He recounted how Thirlby once looked him in the eyes and straightforwardly admitted, “I’m really attracted to you.”

Elliot wrote in “Pageboy,” “At that we started sucking face. It was on. I had an all-encompassing desire for her, she made me want in a way that was new, hopeful. It was one of the first times someone would make me c*m, the first time I would open up.”

According to Elliot, their connection was intense and frequent: “We would have sex ‘all the time’, and even in creative places.”

He described their encounters: “Her hotel room, in our trailers at work, once in a tiny, private room in a restaurant. We thought we were being subtle.”

Page also discussed the personal growth he experienced through their intimacy: “Being intimate with Olivia helped my shame dissipate. I didn’t see a glint of it in her eyes and I wanted that — done feeling wretched about who I am.”

Additionally, in his memoir, Page talks about his feelings for Kate Mara during the filming of the 2014 superhero movie “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” despite her being with Max Minghella at the time.

“The first person I fell for after my heart was broken was Kate Mara,” Page reveals.

“She had a boyfriend at the time, the lovely and talented Max Minghella.”

It’s not clear if Kate Mara was still with Max Minghella when she started seeing Elliot Page. But Page shared something Mara told him: “I never thought I could be in love with two people and now I know I can.”
