The Twilight has been named the world’s most attractive guy by the “Golden Ratio,” which is a scientific evaluation of what makes a “perfect face.”
Numerous comments have been made regarding Pattinson’s rating.
“Couldn’t agree more this man is STUNNING,” one person pens.
“Science does not have all of the answers! This is proof of that fact,” agrees another.
A third questions: “There are billions of other guys in the world. If they haven’t seen them all, then how do they know he’s the most attractive?”
Additionally, Pattinson responded to the praise in a unique, widely shared video.
The Greek study of aesthetics serves as the foundation for the Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi, which was developed during the European Renaissance.
Historically, it has been a tool used by architects and painters to construct visually appealing works. For example, according to Study.com, Leonardo Da Vinci used this ratio in his well-known depiction of the Vitruvian Man, which represents the “ideal” human male form.
This mathematical technique has been modified by scientists nowadays to identify physical attractiveness.
A mathematical method called the Golden Ratio is used to calculate the relative sizes of different face features.
First, measurements are taken of a person’s face length and width, and the results are divided.
A face or body is closer to being “perfect” the closer these ratios are to the number 1.618 (Phi).
A number of places on the face are measured, such as the area between the eyes and the forehead hairline, the bottom of the nose and the bottom of the chin, and the area between the eyes and the bottom of the nose.
If these measures are almost equal, then someone is seen more lovely.
The face’s proportions and symmetry are also looked at.
The Golden Ratio states that an individual’s ear and nose lengths must coincide, and their eye width and distance from each other must match for someone to be deemed attractive.
The ranking was developed by Harley Street facial cosmetic surgeon Dr. Julian De Silva using sophisticated computer mapping techniques.
This method is used in the practice of Dr. De Silva, who is the director of the London-based Centre for Advanced Facial Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery.
According to what he tells MailOnline, Robert Pattinson emerged victorious when every face feature was evaluated for physical perfection.
“These brand new computer mapping techniques allow us to solve some of the mysteries of what it is that makes someone physically beautiful and the technology is useful when planning patients’ surgery.”
The British actor, who gained notoriety for his Twilight series roles as Edward Cullen and Batman, has been rated 92.15% correct by the Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi, a scale that is supposed to assess physical perfection.
After analysis, it was discovered that his eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, jaw, and general face form were the most similar to the ideal of perfection set by the ancient Greeks.
With a score of 92.15%, Pattinson was the highest on the list and ranked in the top five for nearly every facial attribute because of his timeless facial shape and sharp jawline.
His lips, on the other hand, were a little bit too thin and flat, which caused his score to significantly decline.
Henry Cavil, with a score of 91.64%, took second place. Cavill’s “perfect” forehead and high forehead and lip scores were recognized by Dr. De Silva.
Cavill had a lower grade for ocular spacing despite these advantages.
Bradley Cooper scored 91.08%, doing especially well in the eye placement category.
He was penalized, though, because of the way his nose was shaped and the way his face was put together.
Brad Pitt, who got 90.51% and was commended for his eye spacing but deducted for the shape of his nose, is among the other noteworthy mentions.
albeit some inevitable indications of aging, George Clooney maintained a high ranking of 89.91%, albeit seeing a modest dip from his peak position.
